Why play viola? Like Beethoven, Mozart, Dvorak and Schubert, I am drawn to the sound and the vantage of experiencing 
music from the "inside"

How did you get interested in classical music? My mother, Roberta Hoy, who was a piano teacher, choral director and the
music consultant for Wellington County.

Favourite indulgences? New York Fries, perusing museums, art galleries and music libraries

Greatest musical influence? Formative years with my piano/harmony teacher Wilfred Powell

Dream Vacation?  Snorkelling in Palawan

Favourite Works? Bartok Concerto for Orchestra, Verdi Requiem

What's a fact no one would know about you? I have a live-in personal trainer.
