Why play trombone? You can play in so many different styles and it always sounds cool.

How did you get interested in classical music? Thanks to my parents
who always had classical music on at home and put me in piano lessons at age 4

Greatest musical influence? John Williams

Best gig you've ever performed at?  The Brant Youth Symphony Orchestra’s 10th anniversary reunion concert
- Performed a concerto

Favourite food?  Pizza

Dream Vacation?  European Orchestra Tour

Outside interests? Chess, Reading, Computer Programming

Favourite Works? The entire soundtrack to “Hook”, Ewazen’s Visions of Light, and Shostakovich Symphony #5.

Favourite way to relax? Buried in a book

What's a fact no one would know about you? I was #2 in the world at my position for the videogame “Wheel of Time” and
helped Team Canada win 2nd place in the world championships.
