Q & A with Sharlene

Why play harp? Definitely not for the schlepping or the tuning!

Favourite indulgence? Playing the accordion

Greatest musical influence? Dance

Best gig you've ever performed at? It’s a tie. Playing with Kanye West and playing at a Celtic festival in Italy at the
foot of Mont Blanc.

Favourite food? Is ice wine a food?

Outside interests? Piano, art, science, finding the answer to anything on the internet.

Favourite Composers? Ravel, Cage, Berio, Rodney Sharman, Oliver Schroer, Alfredo Rolando Ortiz

Favourite way to relax? Hanging out with my camera

What's a fact no one would know about you? I have, on more than a few occasions, left my harp behind… on elevators,
back porches, at gigs. Come to think of it, perhaps that’s something you shouldn’t know about me!
