Ballet Class in Support of a Syrian Family

Dear Musicians of the GSO,

Jeremy, our principal cellist , spoke about his company’s goal of raising funds to sponsor a Syrian family to come to Canada. We are organizing a GSO ballet fundraiser to support this effort.

Relive your memories of the weekly ballet class of your youth, or experience the fun for the first time!
An exhilarating 2-hour ballet class, taught by Amanda Paterson, Artistic Director of Oakville Ballet and Examiner for American Ballet Theater® National Curriculum, accompanied on piano by Judith Yan, Artistic Director of GSO.
This special Event includes:
• One Ballet Class, no previous experience necessary!
• Content of Class: Barre, Centre, and choreography from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet “ThePillow Dance” from Dance of the Knights
